Roberto Henriquez 'Santa Cruz de Coya' País 2021
Leading the pack in bringing the Chilean old vine wine scene to the world, Roberto Henriquez needs little introduction. After studying agronomy and enology at the University of Concepción, Roberto worked with winemakers in South Africa, Canada and in the Loire Valley, where he was influenced by the organic and biodynamic farming methods of Rene Mosse. Upon return, Roberto carefully selected local vineyards/sites that could express purity but also demonstrate the uniqueness of the ancestral varieties from Chile. Roberto has been producing wines from Itata and around his family home in Bío Bío since 2015.
