País 'Salvaje' Blanco 2020
Meet the wild one. This Pais 'Salvaje' (meaning wild) is picked from 80+ year old grape vines that crawl through a band forest, up to 5 metres high in the Maule region. White bunches are picked by hand using ladders positioned against the tree to reach all of the fruit.
The wine is fermented in amphora (clay) before it's bottled unfiltered and unfined. The result is a racy crisp white wine with green apples, white florals, and fresh acidity making it perfect to drink as an aperitif or with fish or seafood.
